SADMERC (Statistical Analysis Durable Medical Equipment Regional Carrier) has granted the Wijit the HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System) code E2227 for durable medical equipment reimbursement through Medicare. Given the new code, the time required to secure a new Wijit will be significantly reduced for people with Medicare.

ATLANTA—May 1, 2007—Recognizing the need for tools necessary to succeed in a difficult regulatory environment, the home medical equipment industry turned out in full force to Medtrade Spring 2007. Medtrade Spring 2007 was held April 24 - 26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The conference and expo drew over 7000 home medical equipment providers, manufacturers and home health care professionals.

Individuals who sustain a spinal cord injury and are then reliant on a wheelchair for mobility are at increased risk for development of disabling shoulder joint pain.
